Dear Pray’s Mill Members and Concerned;

Therefore;

Again, thank you for your support. To every one of you who has emailed and written to me all I can say is Bless you and Thank you! Please keep up the encouraging emails, letters and phone calls.

Well, there are over 4,270+ website hits in 6 weeks of operating this site with no official announcements, mailings etc. My website data sheet (WEBSTAT – a software showing who, what, when, & where viewings are coming from ) shows that there have been 3342 actual separate readings of the letters for this 6 week period and that Pray’s Mill Baptist Church office computer network and Internet IP address is still the leading return visitor viewing my website.  

Again, I say to you that all statements made by me are true in fact and in nature and nothing I am about to say is speculation or rumor. I will not say anything that is considered hearsay, rumor or untrue and I will be disclosing some things which may shock you as members of a church.  You will not want to, but you must consider and believe that what I am stating in this letter is true. If you do not want to read and hear the truth about these issues or have your spirituality world turned upside down, then DO NOT READ THIS LETTER as it will only hurt your heart as it has hurt mine to have to write about these issues! There were many, many other issues dealt with that did not personally involve me but were known by me and I will not discuss these issues or the individuals. I will only explain issue I have direct knowledge of, and or which I was personally involved. I am doing this to clear my mind and honor God so that I may move forward and put this behind me.

In starting this 6^th letter I would like to say that I have been overwhelmed with the request for letter #5. If you have not read it or if you would like it, go to Letter #5 and register at the link for a copy. If you have already registered please do not re-register. It will be to you soon, but please have patients as I’ve had over 840+ request for this letter - plus I have to work to…..:) 

This letter will be straight to the point on several issues and very direct with  my information. A lot of you have sent me incidents and issues you have either seen or heard while members of Pray’s Mill, but as I have previously stated I only post data and information in which I have personal knowledge about. I can not and will not post anything which I can not confirm. However you may still send me information you have knowledge about for the forum and blog area which be available soon for all to use. I will need to “approve” all forum and blog information prior to being used on my website so please be through, polite and detailed when you send me the issues to be used. ****(Updated 08172007 blog/forum on hold for now)

I have received MANY emails, letters, and phone calls concerning issue related with Mike Everson, Clay Cox, Ric Blazi plus others - from their family members, current church members, former church members from Pray’s Mill, other former church members at their past church’s, and associates who all have had dealings with them in the past. If I did not know better I would find it hard to believe some of the issues exposed in conversations to me about these three. Again, I will NOT use anything outside of what I personally have knowledge of, but I do know about them and if required I may one day expose these conversations to you for your understanding of what is going on at Pray’s Mill.

I now will express to you further issues relating to the leadership at Pray’s Mill.

Since nothing is being done to correct Mike Everson and the leadership at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church these next issues exposed will be informative, short and very direct! I expressed my opinion in letter # 5 so I will not repeat my opinions in this letter. If I see and hear of corrective actions taking place I will detail in full other materials, otherwise……………….          here they are;

1. Are you aware that Mike Everson used Pray’s Mill Baptist Church ( yours and mine ) tithes and offerings to pay for New Landscaping on his new  ($440,000) home? You know how expensive new landscaping for a large yard is!…..Yes, you and I paid for his personal home landscaping and lawn services without us knowing about it or voting on it!  And his home is CURRENTLY maintained with Pray’s Mill tithes and offerings! He tells them “SPARE NO EXPENSE!” my question is : Where is / was this in the budget or hidden in the budget? Or is this a “kickback” for services?

2. When the tornados hit in Roopville – Carroll County a couple of years ago Mike Everson stated “he wished the tornados had hit our church and would have blown our worship center and other buildings apart so he could rebuild the church in the way he wanted it to be cosmetically”.  I was stunned at what I had heard!

3. Ric Blazi is being paid a housing allowance as part of his salary and the housing allowance paid to Ric includes money for his property taxes and these property taxes, which our tithes and offerings are used for, has been paid late the last 3 years to Carroll County by 3- 4 months.

4. There were times I heard Mike Everson use foul language and ugly words.   

5. There were times I heard Mike Everson use the “negative” word(s) when speaking about issues relating to laborers work, gym issues in regards to repairs, how thing were fixed around the church in the past, past repairs, rigged…. football teams , etc.,

6. Remember this statement in letter # 2  question 4? “ He ( Morris Roper) also did and said other things that I will not disclose at this time?”    Well what he did was; during my conversation with him with his wife and 80 year old mother in law present he physically assaulted me by grabbing me around the chin and around the neck with his hands  telling me to shut up as I relayed information to him about Mike Everson and his staff. He had first asked me to go into the back room for privacy to keep our conversation and information away from them, but I refused and told him everyone needed to hear what I had to say. So when he got abusive with me, I left. This is your Chairman of the Deacons showing his true leadership and “ministerial” abilities in dealing with the membership who speaks the truth.

7.  Before making an about face, Vernon Collett was going to stand with me and back me on issues relating to and concerning the financial position of the church and against our staffs salaries and to verify any  misuse of our tithe’s and Offerings at Pray’s Mill.  Vernon Collett ask many to collect data for like size memberships and compensation for other like size memberships staff leadership financial positions and pay at other church’s so he could have facts and figures to present to Mike Everson and the deacons when he ask for his raise in 2007-2008. He also stated to me that Mike Everson told him that if he did not get a raise from him, that he would got to the deacons and get it. He also told me later he would resign as treasurer if the deacons went over his head to get the raise.

8. Mike Everson had a personal computer given to him by the church as a pastor appreciation gift in which was given a “ brand new computer” out of the box. He was asked several times to allow me to check computer and I never was allowed to check the computer. After David’s issues and my request he stated to me in October 2006 he would either bring the computer in for me to check or he would throw it in the lake as he thought there was bad stuff on it from a previous owner. I told him it was not from a previous owner and it was “Brand New” and it was factory direct and was a fresh out of the box installed hard-drive. He tried to convince me that the computer was used – and it was not used when he got it!  I have personally seen material I considered “ questionable” on his computers and from pictures surfed within his “history” which was viewed on the internet.

9. Mike Everson and deacons call names in deacon meetings and accuses them of issues against the church without that person being in the meeting or their to defend him or herself. An example: In our meeting in March he said a certain person was thought to have been on his computer surfing the internet for porn and I defended that person telling him and the deacons” how dare you speak of him when he is not here to defend himself!” I was so mad I had to temporarily leave the room and meeting to regain my composure. It seems like it is them against us  - the members of the church…..especially if you oppose or know something that is wrong.

 As I have stated previously there are many other issues in which official have ask that I not disclose at this time. Otherwise, soon I will disclose these other issues for your review.

On my front page I have posted material from a doctor who testified before Congress about how “Cults” are started and how church’s leadership

misuses the trust of general memberships to gain control of members thought processes and ideal for religion. I urge you to review this document and others to see if this is happening at Pray’s Mill.

I urge you to refresh your mind and re-read my previous letters posted concerning issues at Pray’s Mill. There are many instances of irregularities and it is my opinion there is a lot of exposed lies, corruption and cover ups from the leadership at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church in which I have had personal knowledge of. The leadership has done exactly what I said they would do and attempted to sweep, lie and misrepresent my truth to you as stated in these letters. In the conference, many of you have said to me they attempted to manipulate the truth and that basically lied to the congregation about the letters posted on my site. Well I stand behind everything I have said to all and as I told the deacons I challenge them to allow me to speak in the front of the church and debate Mike Everson face to face about ALL issues discussed at the deacons meeting in March and issues within these letters. They refused then and continue to refuse to hear me now, but they speak and slander me and talk about me to you without me being in attendance or invited for rebuttal. But that is OK, God and most of you know what I speak is the truth and know my heart.   

To this day I still have not received anything, - a phone call, letter, email, or even a smoke signal about a “dismissal” from Prays Mill Baptist Church membership from staff or leadership within Pray’s Mill.

In closing I leave you with another of his many sayings from the pulpit which he needs to apply to himself;

Sin will take you farther than you want to go

Cost you more than you want to pay and

Keep you longer than you want to stay.

And now a letter from a concerned supporter;

I am the mother of ………………. and am very concerned about the conditions that one of my children is involved in.  I went to Prays Mill for about 6 months to a Year after my mother passed away just to be near my children, and was made to feel very unwelcome when I didn't join.  What I saw was not something I wanted to be involved in and voiced my opinion to my children as to what he was doing.  I appreciate what you are doing to expose this and pray that you and your  family  will find a good church to worship. Keep up the good work and keep informing the people of what is taking place.
